| The
fabulous EMI TG 12345 desk at Vega - actually used by the
Rolling Stones back in the 1970's to record two of their
albums (when the desk was housed at Pathé Marconi Studios
in Paris. |
|
Job #1 was to help on a day of
production [of a demo single] at Vega Studio, Carpentras (Provence). Vega uses a
superb EMI desk (the sort of thing that you see in the Beatles / Abbey
Road documentaries).

An
array of the finest microphones at Vega. |
Job #2 was to play a flute
track to complete another demo single. This was in another location, -MGO
Studio, in Avignon. Having plenty of time to work with the composer
outside of the studio cut recording time to a minimum on the big day.
Great fun, and mission accomplished successfully!
