| Consideration The signing of the register is when you [probably] disappear off to a side chapel for 5 minutes. For you it's the first chance to relax, but for your guests it's the first chance to have a quiet chat. As such, it's probably best to allow them that chance rather than drown them with heroic music. An alternative approach is to provide high-quality music that will entertain them. If you have booked a vocal soloist and/or instrumentalists, then this is their chance to shine (and for you to have your money's worth). I am a professional-level flute player so, at no extra cost, you can have items for solo flute (two instrumentalists for the price of one, but not at the same time!).
